Supporters Day: Honoring Charles Riley is on February 17
On Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 5 PM, First Community Interfaith Institute Inc., a spiritual and cultural organization plus a teaching church in the SouthWedge, will present a Black History Month program at 219 Hamilton Street.
The First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. will highlight its educational programs--the Charles Riley Tutorial Program and its Ministry School of Doology.
The purposes of the Black History Month program, known as Supporters Day, are to advocate for the support of the Institute 's after school program and adult enrichment program. "Supporters Day: Honoring Charles Riley" will commence a year-long advocacy of encouraging the elimination of miseducation of our constituency and the reduction of negative behaviors that threaten the mental health and physical safety of our constituency.
"Supporters Day: Honoring Charles Riley" will provide consultation with Minister Lawrance Lee Evans Sr. about after school programs, cultural folkways, case management and parenting. For more information, contact Minister Lawrance Lee Evans Sr. at 585-461-0379.
